90% of businesses don’t fail because the idea is bad. They fail because the founder doesn’t understand how their Business Model actually works.
Your Business Model is the cycle of money — from the first dirham that enters your company to the last one that leaves as profit. If you don’t know how that cycle moves, you’re walking into your own business blindfolded.
This is the biggest mistake I see Business Owners make every day. The whole team — including the founder — is out there selling, pricing, running ads, burning cash on social media… while none of them can answer the basics:
- How are we actually making money?
- Where are we losing it?
- Why are we spending this?
- Who’s going to pay?
- Why would they pay?
- And how do we get paid again after the first sale?
That’s why before you start any business, you have to answer the foundational questions inside the Business Model Canvas. It’s the only framework that pulls everything onto a single page:
- Who’s the customer?
- What are you selling them?
- For how much?
- Who do you depend on?
- What does it cost you?
- What revenue actually lands in your bank?
If your Business Model isn’t crystal clear, you don’t have a business — you’ve signed up to lose money. Literally.
